RACE

Sometimes it takes forty two kilometers for the foot to tread to complete the marathon and sometimes it takes a complete lifespan for the marathon…….. Life.

‘ajab daud hai, gajab daud hai,
yeh jeena yaaron daud hai koi aagey hai koi peechey …..’

Starting from the morning tea to the last hour of the day before subjugating our self to sleep we all are running, running for survival. Sometimes we run to beat the best and sometimes to remain the best. In a race everyone runs for one fixed finishing line but in the race of life everyone sets up a different finishing line for him. Some people concede to fatigue caused by low morals and low confidence and some people keeps on running powered by the imagination of achieving something extraordinary. Sometimes it is the baton that is passed to us that make us run faster and sometimes we run fast to pass the baton faster. Sometimes we run faster because every spectators have bet on us and some time we run faster just because nobody betted on us. Sometimes the race is full of hurdles at regular interval and sometimes it is relay event when your race is also dependent upon others. Sometimes it’s someone and sometimes it is oneself from whom we are running away.
Remember, in a race there is only one winner, but in the race of life there are more than one winner because everyone runs for different aim. It is important to keep the aim in your mind before running and hearing the bell before the last lap………………..

PS: read it once more and just visualize………………………………………

Roadtrip

Pre read: This is dedicated to all those aspiring people who after having long working hours in the office find themselves stuck out in the city’s traffic enclosed in office cab. Just imagine of being sitting in one of those office cabs and going back to home during wee hours.

…… it was that flash of light from the vehicle on the other side of the road which again pushed my eyes back from precarious to the restless state. The persistence of the outer periphery of the headlight in the mind started to circumvent myriads of thoughts that were running parallel at that moment of time. Even the brain wanted to elude from those thoughts, this was advent from the fact that the persistence of image was longer then the usual time, which manifested that this virtual boundary will only evade along with these restless thoughts. Thoughts which were full of questions that I always wanted to find an answer to but escaped out from the mind as soon as I got engulfed in the office work. May be this was the best time for these thoughts to again siege the mind as it was temporary free from the usual tight timelines at this hour. It all started few years back when I landed up in this MNC industry with some perfunctory targets to achieve in short duration. But as the time elapsed the targets got changed the same way as my cab was changing lanes on the highway, constantly looking for easier way to beat the traffic but never realized the vehicles that were beaten by the sheer speed were standing along with my cab at the traffic signal’s red light. The important rule to understand was in the end we all will reach our destiny or goal but throughout the course of journey it is insignificant to compare your performance with someone else, what matters is how did you fare in the journey as compared to your previous ride. It is you, yourself who should be your real competitor. Focus should be on how to always give the awe inspiring performance without being complacent in life. The change of light from red to green on the signal propelled my mind to a newer territory, THE FUTURE. What is next to come? What special is in store for me? As I began to think on those lines I was awaken by the cab driver’s voice…….
Sirji slip pe sign kardo aapka ghar aa geya

Chak De India

Adarsh phasan jahan naaron mein
Aur chor bharey darbaron mein

Where ideals are stuck in slogans
And the royal courts are full of thieves
(Song lyrics: Bilqis(Jinhe naaz hai) artist: Rabbi Shergill )

Don’t you feel we Indians are too much committed to politics? Pass by any of the local kiosk and you can easily hear people ridiculing government and its policy. One banal statement that leads infinite arguments is ‘yeh saala poora SYSTEM hi khaaraab hai’ but wait…… Who constitute system? Who creates system?
The irony is people who have the rights to elect the system, and create system are the one who keeps on lamenting of it the most. After ‘darbar’ is chosen we are the ones that initiate the process of branding them as ‘chor’. Election commission just gives us one stamp to cast our vote and not any other stamp that be easily engraved on the forehead of the winning candidate branding him as ‘chor’. Or do we try to hide our own credibility as a responsible citizen by blaming it on the Government and constantly belittling it as loser.
If Government does not do anything then why the people do not actively participate in the NGO’s and does something where the Government fails to deliver. What I feel it simple to play the blame game and keep on blaming on your counterpart, but this is not the state of mind that is acceptable for a credible citizen of a developing country like India. Countries are successful and become superpower if the people residing over there are actively striving hard to deliver something that is matchless. Be an inquisitive citizen keeping constant check on the working of government and its polices don’t let ease and complacency seep through the mind of Political body. When a single pillar collapses the whole building comes down we as the citizens are the pillar of the country .Don’t let the ideals to stick in slogans; power them with the wings of hope, hope of being the best and conquering the world. Fuel the stylus with the ink of optimism, positivism so that we are able to script the new successful story of powerful India.
Chak de India ……………..

Limitless Mind

Duniya ka sab se bada rog

Kya kahenge mere baare mein log

The biggest problem is what other people will say about me.
Does what other people think about me, what they say about me puts brain in an invisible bound that limit its natural instincts? Does whatever we do, we do it for the sake of others? One personality trait that is common to all great people and legends is they were never tamed to the thoughts of the outside world, they created the thoughts what they wanted the other people to reiterate about them. It clearly showcases the human mind is so much full of creativity and diversity that when it is left free to respond to all the stimuli of external world it can lead to exemplary results. But what limits the freedom of human mind what cuffs its thinking process? It’s the fear of the ‘Outside world’ the hindi synonym of ‘log’ (people). The most important thing to understand is who constitute the outside world and how your personal actions affect them. When you start counting the people who constitute the outside world, almost everyone in this world starts to accumulate in your list. When you filter them out the on the criteria of people being affected by your personal deeds not a single person is left on that list. The conclusion, it does not matter to any one of whatever you do. It is just fear of this virtual world that limits your action to that extent that your performance starts to degrade and this poor performance leads failure. Don’t leave your mind to be slave of someone else thoughts let it think freely and firmly and construe the situation according to needs. Let it be free to take decisions and counter all problem with the best possible solution which can inculcate the attitude of bringing the change in the society for the welfare of humankind.Let the virtual barriers that limit the potency of mind be evaded by the positive thought of giving best in whatever we do and attaining perfection in whatever we are involved.
